China Mobile’s Big Cloud Scheme

China Mobile’s Big Cloud version 1.0 has been released with five products: BC-PDM, HugeTable, BC-EC, BC-NAS and BC-MapReduce.

1.BC-PDM is a new MapReduce based parallel data mining platform featured with high performance, low cost, high reliability, high scalability and large capacity.
2.HugeTable is a newly designed distributed structured database suitable for fast index inquiry/statistics.
3.BC-EC is furnished with a new capability of information center server management and laaS service model. It leases virtual server out in self-service manner to enhance the availability of internal resources and to cut down costs.
4.BC-NAS supports Internet application and super-scale information storage through object storage model. It also supports various accesses to files as well as multi-copy.
5.MapReduce offers environment for configuration, control and execution, and also facilitates learning with statistical result of execution performance.
